Humboldt Birth Collective
The mission of The Humboldt Birth Collective is to expand affordable access to prenatal, birth, and postpartum support throughout Humboldt County leading to improved birth outcomes, reduced birth trauma, and healthier families in our community. We plan to provide insurance-covered care and financial assistance for an array of resources including but not limited to full spectrum doula, midwifery, lactation care and to build community among women and birthing people through childbirth education classes, breastfeeding classes, mothers’ support groups, breastfeeding support groups, prenatal and community gatherings.
