PBSP Victim Offender Education Group
Mission: We envision a vibrant and just society that inspires transformation within and beyond the walls of incarceration. We hope to assist those whose lives are impacted by incarceration through programs and processes designed to nurture healthy and resilient behavior inspired by insight, accountability and compassion.
Program: Incarcerated men at Pelican Bay State Prison Level 4 facilities voluntarily apply and are selected into a weekly program meeting over the course of approximately 18 months. Each week, in-class, homework assignments and group dialogue guided by principles of insight, personal accountability and social justice are completed, culminating in the opportunity to meet with a survivor panel and program completion certificate.
