Conversations About Power
Conversations About Power is an anti-sexual violence, arts-based non-profit that aims to empower survivors of sexual abuse. We are a proud DreamMaker Project for the Ink People Center for the Arts that uses visual expression and community dialogue to co-construct solutions to the problem of sexual violence. The goal of our workshops and exhibitions are to leave people feeling more unified, informed, understood and directed. It is our belief that the tactic of providing community opportunities for spoken, written and visual expression in the response to trauma is both an effective and essential form of civic engagement.
