Samba da Alegria is a community dance and drum troupe that has evolved over the past 20 years. Alegria welcome's all community members to dance drum and celebrate our COMMUNITY!! Once a year Samba da Alegria brings a new theme new dance new percussion amazing costumes and props. Our soul purpose is to provide a celebration for and with our community.

Our goal is to share the love of oral storytelling with our communities. The North Coast Storytellers are committed to working togeather to support promote and perpetuate the aret craft and values of story telling through education and performance. Located in Northern California North Coast storytellers are available throughout the year for school presentations and other events in the greater Humboldt and Del Norte counties.

Mission Statement:

From the vision of Beth V. Stone Speech Pathologist with the PALS program and inspired by her work with one boy and his family – A ballet to bring the full emotional impact of living as an autistic child and living with autistic children through the telling of one boy’s story- his ‘version’ to the community at large. The ballet used as an educational vehicle from which to develop tools and programs for educators and parents.

Duke Of Ook

The Duke of Ook is (currently) a Broadway style musical in progress, a fantasy/allegory in which all the characters are primates (Chimpanzees, Orangutans, Monkeys, Gorillas, etc.,) representing the different races and cultures of human kind.

The story begins at Castle Ook with the arrival of an Imperial Ambassador, who is secretly part of a plot to assassinate the Duke of Ook and his eldest son Oboko. The Duke is indeed killed, but Oboko escapes with the help of a castle servant, Amani, who takes him to refuge among her extended family.

Redwood Coast Childeren's Touring Chorus

The Redwood Coast Children's Chorus is founded upon the belief that music is a universal language - one which can bridge social and cultural barriers. It is based upon the idea that music must be shared and in collaborating musically children may put aside personal differences in favor of a common goal...a love for music. This concept while fundamental on a local level becomes much more powerful on a global scale.

Circus Of The Elements

Circus of the Elements are a multi-talented and multi-dimensional elemental live performance dance troupe. Our goal is to dazzle with our fiery outdoor displays of fire dance and fire art sculptures by bringing fresh choreography to the stage both indoors and out. We bring fire to the aerial as well as to isis wings belly dance hoop dance acro samba styles and more! You can find us every 1st Friday from May to October in Trinidad for Trinidad Art Nights as well as performing at a variety of events and venues. We also produce many of our own events and even do private parties!

Bella Vita Fire Dance

Director Gypsy Bella founded her troupe with a vision of creativity through dance and passion fire. The Bellas light up the night for weddings parties and festivals and also offer classes in Fire Dance Silk Poi and Flow Art.

Arcata Amusement Institution

The goal of the Arcata Amusement Institution is to provide circus and variety entertainment and workshops for the greater Humboldt County Area. Staff and members working on the project will have an opportunity to develop their performance skills in a professional environment.

2 Left Feet

With the help of Ink People a young energetic dancer Lindsay Bonds has resurrected the Two Left Feet Dance Project originally created in 1991 by Bonnie Hossack former director of the defunct Dancenter a Creamery space that was reopened as Redwood Raks by Shoshanna of Middle Eastern dance fame. It is no easy task to pull off the type of evening-length showcase that Two Left Feet promotes. Unique about the project: its community-based structure. The works are not juried.
