Natural Dye Workshop

Create a whole spectrum of color on wool yarn or silk fabrics with dyes from plants, minerals, and an insect!  Create a natural-dyed color wheel to use in your work.  Traditional dye materials such as cochineal, madder, and indigo will be used, as well as fresh wild plants … we will dye all of the colors of the rainbow as well as brown, grey, and a beautiful black.  For more information call Linda Hartshorn at 599-2729.
